Pil KB Kombinasi

Kombinasi keduanya dapat membantu menghentikan pelepasan sel telur dari indung telur setiap bulan, mengentalkan lendir di serviks (leher rahim), membuat sperma sulit bergerak untuk mencapai sel telur dan membuat lapisan rahim lebih tipis sehingga kecil kemungkinan sel telur berimplantasi di dinding rahim.

Pil ini bekerja pada siklus 28 hari, Anda akan minum pil setiap hari selama 21 hari kemudian beristirahat selama 7 hari.

KB suntik

KB suntik adalah jenis KB hormonal yang diinjeksikan setiap 1 atau 3 bulan sekali untuk mencegah kehamilan. Kandungan progestin di dalamnya mencegah ovarium melepaskan sel telur.

Kekurangan:

  • Tidak dapat memberikan perlindungan terhadap infeksi menular seksual
  • Meningkatkan risiko depresi
  • Menyebabkan peningkatan berat badan, payudara lunak dan sakit kepala
  • Menyebabkan menstruasi tidak lancar atau tidak hadirnya menstruasi

 

IUD Hormonal

IUD sendiri sebenarnya dibagi menjadi dua, hormonal dan non-hormonal. IUD hormonal mengandung progesteron yang apabila dimasukkan di rahim akan mencegah ovarium memproduksi sel telur. IUD ini dapat digunakan 3-10 tahun tergantung pada jenisnya

Kelebihan:

  • Dapat dilepaskan apabila Anda ingin kembali hamil
  • Dapat diganti sekitar 3-10 tahun
  • Tidak melibatkan kerja sama dengan pasangan
  • Tidak menyebabkan efek samping seperti alat kontrasepsi yang mengandung estrogen
  • Menurunkan nyeri haid yang parah
  • Menurunkan risiko infeksi dan kanker endometriosis

Kekurangan:

  • Tidak melindungi dari penyakit menular seksual
  • Berisiko menyebabkan perforasi rahim (kasus yang jarang)
  • Sakit kepala
  • Jerawat
  • Perubahan suasana hati
  • Perubahan pada payudara
  • Menstruasi tidak teratur
  • Dapat menyebabkan nyeri panggul

 

KB Implan

KB implan atau disebut juga KB susuk, mengandung progestin yang dilepaskan melalui batang tipis yang ditempatkan di bawah kulit lengan atas. KB implan dapat digunakan hingga 3 tahun.

Kelebihan:

  • Dapat dilepaskan dengan mudah bila Anda berencana hamil kembali
  • Tidak mengandung estrogen

Kekurangan:

  • Menyebabkan nyeri perut atau punggung
  • Meningkatkan risiko kista ovarium
  • Menstruasi tidak lancar
  • Menurunkan gairah seksual
  • Sakit kepala dan pusing
  • Resistensi insulin ringan
  • Perubahan suasana hati dan depresi
  • Mual dan perut tidak enak
  • Nyeri payudara
  • Menyebabkan peradangan pada vagina dan kekeringan
