dok, mulut/lidah saya sering banget sariawan, itu kenapa ya dok? apakah kurang vitamin atau apa ya dok?

Hai,

Terima kasih telah bertanya di layanan Tanya Dokter Ai Care, 

Mulut/lidah sariawan merupakan proses peradangan yang terjadi pada area mulut yang bisa disebabkan oleh beberapa hal, seperti infeksi virus, bakteri, tergigitnya lidah atau sekitar bagian mulut, kekurangan vitamin B12 serta respons dari beberapa obat-obatan.

Umumnya sariawan dapat sembuh sendiri dalam jangka waktu 1-2 minggu tanpa perlu bantuan obat tertentu, namun ada tips yang dapat dilakukan untuk meredakan peradangan dan nyeri yang disebabkan oleh sariawan, antara lain:

  • Berkumur dengan air dingin serta bisa mengompres sariawan dengan es batu;
  • Konsumsi obat pereda nyeri seperti parasetamol;
  • Hindari makanan dan minuman yang bersifat panas, asam, pedas dan asin karena bisa memperparah gejala;
  • Disarankan untuk meminum air putih yang cukup;
  • Memenuhi kebutuhan makanan bergizi;
  • Dan menjaga kebersihan mulut dengan sikat gigi minimal 2 kali sehari.

Apabila sariawan tidak kunjung mereda setelah 2 minggu atau dirasa seringkali timbul, maka disarankan untuk memeriksakan diri ke dokter agar dapat dilakukan pemeriksaan fisik secara menyeluruh hingga pemeriksaan penunjang apabila diperlukan untuk menentukan penyebab dan tatalaksana yang tepat.
