Sunscreen Krim dan Losion

Sunscreen berbentuk krim dan losion merupakan jenis sunscreen yang paling banyak dijumpai di pasaran. Jenis sunscreen ini tersedia dalam kemasan tube, botol atau wadah yang mudah diaplikasikan ke wajah dan seluruh tubuh.

Tekstur sunscreen krim dan losion memungkinkan Anda untuk mengoleskan sunscreen secara merata sehingga memberi perlindungan yang menyeluruh bagi kulit.

Namun kekurangan dari sunscreen jenis krim dan losion adalah tidak semua jenis sunscreen ini nyaman digunakan untuk kulit kepala. Bagi Anda yang menggunakan make up pun akan kesulitan untuk reapply sunscreen setiap 2 jam sekali. Selain itu beberapa bahan sunscreen krim dan losion juga dapat menyebabkan komedo pada wajah.

Sunscreen Bubuk (Powder Sunscreen)

Sunscreen bubuk adalah sunscreen yang diformulasikan mirip bedak tabur. Meskipun praktis dan mudah digunakan sayangnya sunscreen bubuk kurang efektif jika digunakan sebagai sunscreen utama. Biasanya sunscreen jenis bubuk akan lebih efektif jika Anda ingin mengoleskan kembali (reapply) sunscreen pada wajah atau kulit kepala.

Salah satu sunscreen yang banyak diminati adalah sunscreen jenis gel atau yang berbasis air. Di pasar Asia, sunscreen gel lebih bervariasi jika dibandingkan dengan sunscreen yang ada di Eropa dan Amerika.

Kelebihan sunscreen ini umumnya terasa lembut dan ringan di kulit dan tidak membuat kulit wajah terasa lengket. Sama dengan sunscreen lainnya, cara terbaik penggunaan sunscreen ini adalah dengan mengoleskannya secara merata ke seluruh permukaan kulit.

 

Masing-masing jenis sunscreen memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangannya masing-masing dari segi tekstur, kenyamanan di kulit dan jangkauan perlindungan yang diberikan. Dilansir dari Everyday Health, sebenarnya sunscreen apa pun yang Anda pilih adalah baik, namun American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) merekomendasikan sunscreen yang memiliki sifat tahan air dengan SPF minimal 30.

Selain itu, pastikan Anda mengoleskan kembali sunscreen setiap 2 jam sekali untuk memberi perlindungan maksimal pada kulit. Anda boleh mengombinasikan dua jenis sunscreen yang berbeda selama tidak menimbulkan tanda iritasi.
