Zink atau seng adalah mineral yang sangat penting bagi tubuh.   • 7-12 bulan 3mg per hari
  • 1-3 tahun 3mg per hari
  • 4-8 tahun 4mg per hari
  • 9-13 tahun 6mg per hari
  • 14-18 tahun (laki-laki) 13mg per hari
  • 14-18 tahun (perempuan) 7mg per hari
  • Pria dewasa 14mg per hari
  • Wanita dewasa 8mg per hari
  • Ibu hamil 10-11mg per hari
  • Ibu menyusui 11-12mg per hari

Seng adalah mineral alami yang dapat ditemukan dalam makanan sehari-hari seperti daging merah, ikan, unggas, sereal dan produk susu. Ketika Anda tidak mendapatkan asupan seng sesuai dengan rekomendasi kebutuhan harian tubuh, maka Anda dapat mengalami penurunan fungsi kekebalan tubuh, diare, penurunan berat badan yang tidak diketahui penyebabnya, pertumbuhan yang lambat, tidak selera makan, dan masih banyak lagi.
