Sebelum menjawab pertanyaan Anda, perlu Anda ketahui bahwa sakit tenggorokan atau radang tenggorokan merupakan rasa tidak nyaman, kering, nyeri, atau gatal yang muncul di tenggorokan. Tidak hanya dialami orang dewasa, anak-anak pun rentan mengalami sakit tenggorokan, dikarenakan daya tahan tubuh yang belum sempurna.

Terdapat beberapa hal yang bisa menyebabkan anak mengalami sakit tenggorokan, antara lain:

  • Infeksi virus;
  • Infeksi bakteri;
  • Iritasi akibat polusi udara atau asap rokok;
  • Cedera pita suara akibat sering berteriak atau berbicara dalam waktu lama.

Terkait pertanyaan Anda, obat tersebut merupakan golongan kortikosteroid. Obat ini termasuk obat keras dan umumnya dikonsumsi untuk mengatasi peradangan, reaksi alergi, atau penyakit-penyakit autoimun.

  • Kompres dengan air hangat di ketiak dan lipat paha jika mengalami demam;
  • Menggunakan masker untuk menghindari penyebaran;
  • Berkumur dengan air hangat yang dicampur garam;
  • Menggunakan pelembap udara atau humidifier;
  • Konsumsi permen antiseptik yang dapat melegakan sakit tenggorokan, seperti dequalinium chloride.

Apabila sakit tenggorokan disertai demam tinggi hingga 39 derajat celcius, batuk darah, atau semakin parah setelah melakukan hal-hal di atas, Anda disarankan untuk berkonsultasi ke fasilitas kesehatan terdekat, seperti IGD. Pengobatan penyakit akan disesuaikan dengan tingkat keparahannya.
