Efek Samping Tidur Dekat Ponsel 

Tidur di dekat ponsel kini bukan menjadi kebiasaan orang dewasa saja, namun juga banyak dijumpai pada anak-anak. Bagi beberapa orang, tidur dekat ponsel dapat membantu mereka yang memiliki gangguan tidur agar lebih mudah terlelap. Selain itu, ada juga orang yang merasa perlu tidur dekat ponsel agar mudah mendengar alarm pagi.

Namun faktanya, tidur di dekat ponsel memiliki sejumlah risiko bagi kesehatan seperti berikut:

1. Gangguan Tidur

Beberapa orang yang sulit tidur memiih menggunakan ponsel untuk membantunya lebih mudah terlelap. Banyak orang yang menggunakan ponsel sebelum tidur untuk membaca berita atau menonton video sebelum tidur hingga akhirnya tertidur.

Meskipun berhasil di beberapa orang, namun cara ini sebenarnya mengganggu ritme sirkadian yang mengatur jam biologis tubuh. Hal ini disebabkan oleh cahaya biru yang terpancar dari ponsel memancarkan gelombang panjang seperti cahaya di pagi hari.

Tubuh akan merespon cahaya tersebut dengan menurunkan melatonin, yang kemudian akan memberi sinyal bahwa di sekitar Anda masih pagi. Penurunan melatonin yang berfungsi sebagai hormon tidur membuat Anda menjadi susah tidur.

2. Menurunkan Kualitas Tidur

Selain menyebabkan susah tidur, tidur di dekat ponsel yang menyala juga dapat menyebabkan penurunan kualitas tidur. Setiap ponsel memancarkan radiasi yang menyebabkan tubuh membutuhkan waktu lebih lama untuk memasuki fase tidur. Akibatnya, ketika bangun Anda akan merasa tubuh tidak segar, kurang waspada, dan butuh waktu lebih lama untuk bangun pagi.

Efek ini bukan hanya dapat dirasakan oleh orang dewasa namun juga anak-anak. Untuk itu sebaiknya sebelum tidur jauhkan ponsel dari tempat tidur Anda dan anak-anak.

 

3. Meningkatkan Risiko Kebakaran

Selain berbahaya bagi kesehatan, penggunaan ponsel juga dapat menyebabkan risiko kebakaran. Meskipun jarang terjadi, namun tidur dengan ponsel yang sedang diisi dayanya dapat meningkatkan risiko baterai meledak. Beberapa potensi luka bakar yang terjadi dapat menyebabkan rasa nyeri, melepuh dan bengkak.

Tips Mengurangi Risiko Bahaya Tidur di Dekat Ponsel

Meskipun terkesan tidak berbahaya, namun tidur di dekat ponsel dapat memengaruhi kualitas tidur Anda. Bagi Anda yang terbiasa tidur di dekat ponsel untuk memudahkan proeses tidur atau terbangun, Anda dapat mengurangi kebiasaan tersebut dengan cara berikut:

Letakkan ponsel di area yang jauh dari tempat tidur

Hindari meletakkan ponsel di bantal atau meja yang ada di samping tempat tidur. Untuk amannya, Anda dapat meletakkan ponsel di ruangan selain kamar tidur. Dengan cara tersebut, Anda tidak akan bermain ponsel sebelum tidur

Gunakan jam beker untuk alarm

Jika Anda menggunakan ponsel sebagai alarm bangun pagi, Anda dapat menggantinya dengan mengunakan jam beker. Jam beker tidak memancarkan radiasi berbahaya sehingga lebih aman untuk alarm Anda sehari-hari.

Ciptakan ritual sehat sebelum tidur

Sebelum tidur, Anda bisa melakukan relakasasi, meditasi, membaca atau mendengarkan musik. Matikan lampu atau atur lampu dalam keadaan remang-remang untuk membantu tidur lebih nyenyak. Selain itu usahakan untuk selalu tidur di jam yang sama setiap harinya.
