Siapa yang tak kenal kacang hijau? Selain memiliki rasa yang lezat, kacang hijau juga kaya akan nutrisi. Salah satu manfaat kacang hijau yang banyak dipercaya masyarakat adalah dapat meningkatkan kesuburan bagi pria dan wanita. Benarkah demikian?

 

Kandungan Nutrisi Kacang Hijau

Kacang hijau yang memiliki nama lain Vigna radiata ini meski disebut dengan istilah kacang, namun sebenarnya ia termasuk dalam keluarga polong. Kacang hijau merupakan bahan makanan yang mudah diolah dalam berbagai jenis makanan dan minuman. Selain itu, kacang hijau juga kaya akan kandungan nutrisi yang menyehatkan tubuh.   • Kalori: 31
  • Protein: 3 gram
  • Lemak: 0 gram
  • Karbohidrat: 6 gram
  • Serat: 2 gram
  • Gula: 4 gram

Kacang hijau juga merupakan sumber antioksidan yang baik dan mengandung sejumlah vitamin dan mineral seperti vitamin C, vitamin E, kalsium dan zat besi.

Banyak masyarakat yang percaya bahwa kacang hijau merupakan makanan yang baik untuk meningkatkan kesuburan. Karenanya banyak pasangan yang sedang program hamil mengonsumsi olahan kacang hijau untuk mempermudah kehamilan. Akan tetapi, belum ada penelitian yang menyebutkan bahwa kacang hijau benar-benar dapat meningkatkan kesuburan bagi pria dan wanita.

Berbeda halnya dengan tauge atau kecambah dari kacang hijau. Sebuah penelitian yang dilakukan pada hewan menunjukkan bahwa mengonsumsi tauge dapat meningkatkan kualitas sperma baik dari segi jumlah, bentuk, dan kelincahan.

Kecambah juga diketahui kaya akan antioksidan, asam folat dan vitamin E yang diketahui dapat meningkatkan kesuburan. Asam folat berfungsi untuk membantu membentuk DNA, dan merangsang produksi sel baru. Kandungan antioksidan juga diketahui dapat melindungi kualitas sperma sehingga dapat meningkatkan kesuburan.

Meskipun demikian, masih dibutuhkan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai pengaruh kacang hijau dan kecambah dengan kesuburan pria dan wanita.

Bagi Anda yang ingin meningkatkan kesuburan dengan mengonsumsi tauge, Anda bisa mengonsumsinya secara mentah maupun matang. Pastikan tauge atau kecambah sudah dicuci bersih sebelum dikonsumsi. Pasalnya, mengonsumsi kecambah mentah atau setengah matang dapat berisiko terkena infeksi bakteri E. coli dan salmonella.

 

Makanan yang Dapat Meningkatkan Kesuburan

Selain kecambah dari kacang hijau, beberapa makanan juga diketahui dapat membantu meningkatkan kesuburan. Dilansir dari Eat Right, beberapa makanan yang dapat meningkatkan kesuburan bagi pria dan wanita adalah makanan yang mengandung asam folat, zat besi, vitamin, antioksidan, mineral dan nutrisi lainnya. Beberapa makanan tersebut antara lain:

1. Sayuran hijau

Sejumlah sayuran hijau bukan hanya kaya serat namun juga kaya akan vitamin E, kalsium, zat besi, dan asam folat yang baik untuk kesuburan. Jenis sayuran yang bisa Anda kosumsi di antaranya bayam, kale, kangkung, brokoli dan kubis.

2. Alpukat

Alpukat merupakan sumber makanan yang baik untuk meningkatkan kesuburan. Alpukat diketahui dapat meningkatkan kesuburan bagi pria dan wanita karena kaya akan kandungan zonc, asam folat, vitamin E dan C.

3. Aneka jeruk

Buah jeruk dikenal sebagai sumber vitamin C yang baik. Anda bisa mengonsumsi berbagai jenis jeruk atau grapefruit setiap hari untuk meningkatkan peluang kehamilan. Buah jeruk kaya akan kalium, kalsium, folat dan vitamin B yang baik untuk sel telur.

4. Asparagus

Asparagus termasuk superfood yang kaya akan nutrisi. Dalam secangkir asparagus, Anda bisa mendapatkan 60% vitamin K, asam folat dan nutrisi lainnya seperti vitamin A, C dan B.

5. Tiram

Tiram merupakan salah satu sumber makanan yang kaya mineral dan baik untuk perkembangan sel sperma dan sel telur. Beberapa kandungan gizi tiram antara lain vitamin B12, zinc, selenium dan zat besi.

Selain makanan di atas, makanan lain yang bisa dikonsumsi untuk meningkatkan kesuburan antara lain kacang kenari, biji bunga matahari, telur, susu dan produk olahannya.
