Kondisi pusing dapat dialami oleh setiap orang. Pusing dirasakan berputar dapat dialami karena adanya gangguan pada keseimbangan tubuh, baik di pusat (otak) atau tepi (telinga). Anda juga bisa membaca di sini untuk mengetahui perbedaan pusing dan vertigo:

Penyebab pusing berputar memang beragam. Tentunya, untuk menentukan penyebab pasti kondisi yang dialami oleh ibu Anda, memerlukan pemeriksaan langsung oleh dokter. Berikut beberapa kemungkinan penyebab pusing berputar, antara lain:

  • Vertigo
  • Tekanan darah rendah
  • Sakit kepala migrain
  • Penyakit meniere
  • Peradangan pada saluran bagian dalam telinga atau labirinitis
  • Stroke
  • Gula darah rendah

Jika kondisi pusing berputar tidak terlalu parah, Anda dapat melakukan beberapa langkah pertolongan pertama di rumah, seperti:

  • Menghentikan aktivitas yang dijalani
  • Tidak banyak bergerak
  • Hindari mengubah posisi tubuh tiba-tiba
  • Duduk atau berbaring hingga keluhan mereda
  • Minum air putih yang cukup
