How it Works

Bezafibrate is a medication widely used to reduce high cholesterol and harmful fat levels in the blood (hyperlipidemia). It works by stimulating the enzyme triglyceride lipase, which plays a role in breaking down cholesterol and fat. This process lowers bad cholesterol (LDL) while increasing good cholesterol (HDL) in the bloodstream.
