Salah satu upaya pemerintah untuk menekan angka penyebaran COVID-19 di Indonesia adalah dengan menyelenggarakan vaksinasi COVID-19. Sejumlah kategori penerima vaksin seperti tenaga medis, tenaga pendidik, pelayanan publik, dan lansia sudah mulai menerima vaksin melalui fasilitas kesehatan terdekat. Lalu bagaimana dengan ibu hamil?

 

Ibu Hamil dan Vaksin COVID-19

Pada dasarnya, vaksin COVID-19 adalah hak untuk setiap warga masyarakat. Namun ada beberapa kategori masyarakat yang tidak termasuk dalam prioritas untuk mendapatkan vaksin COVID-19. Menurut Petunjuk Teknis Pelaksanaan Vaksinasi yang diatur oleh Kementerian Kesehatan, ibu hamil dan menyusui termasuk dalam kelompok orang yang tidak diberikan vaksin COVID-19.

Pada tanggal 25 Juni 2021, Perhimpunan Obstetri dan Ginekolog Indonesia (POGI) mengeluarkan rekomendasi vaksin COVID-19 untuk Ibu hamil. Namun Ibu hamil sendiri yang menerima vaksin harus memenuhi persyaratan, yaitu berisiko tinggi terpapar COVID-19 atau jika terinfeksi dapat menunjukkan gejala berat.

Hal ini bukan berarti bahwa vaksin COVID-19 yang beredar berbahaya bagi masyarakat. Namun, aturan tersebut berdasar pada masih sedikitnya uji klinis vaksin tersebut mengenai keamanan dan efektivitas vaksin COVID-19 pada ibu hamil dan menyusui. Sehingga kategori ibu hamil dan menyusui belum masuk kategori memang bukan prioritas penerima vaksin.

Sejumlah vaksin COVID-19 yang beredar seperti Pfizer-BioNtech, Sinovac, AstraZeneca. Hanya vaksin Sinovac yang direkomendasikan pemerintah bagi Ibu hamil.

 

Kriteria Ibu hamil penerima vaksin

  • Ibu hamil dengan risiko tinggi, yaitu di atas 35 tahun, memiliki BMI di atas 40, dengan komorbid diabetes dan hipertensi.
  • Kelompok ibu hamil risiko tinggi terpapar, terutama tenaga kesehatan.
  • Pada ibu hamil dengan risiko rendah setelah mendapatkan penjelasan dari petugas kesehatan, dan bersedia atas pilihannya untuk melaksanakan vaksinasi Covid-19.

 

Pencegahan COVID-19 pada ibu hamil

Mengingat ibu hamil bukan termasuk prioritas utama golongan penerima vaksin, maka ibu hamil perlu melakukan perlindungan ekstra untuk menjaga diri. Beberapa cara yang bisa dilakukan antara lain:

1. Disiplin melakukan protokol kesehatan 5M yaitu memakai masker, mencuci tangan, menjaga jarak, mengurangi mobilitas dan menjauhi kerumunan.

2. Mengonsumsi makanan sehat untuk meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh

3. Rajin berolahraga

4. Memeriksakan kehamilan secara rutin

Penting bagi ibu hamil untuk segera melaporkan jika mengalami gejala yang timbul seperti demam, batuk dan kesulitan bernapas ke fasilitas kesehatan terdekat. Untuk mengurangi risiko keparahan akibat infeksi virus COVID-19, ibu hamil juga dapat menerima vaksin influenza. Vaksin influenza termasuk jenis vaksin yang tidak aktif sehingga tidak membahayakan kehamilan.

Untuk memastikan kondisi kesehatan ibu hamil, jangan ragu untuk berkonsultasi dengan dokter kandungan sebelum melakukan vaksinasi. Hal ini penting dilakukan untuk menghindari risiko pada janin dan ibu hamil.
