How It Works

Kalpanax is an antifungal medication designed to treat skin fungal infections, including ringworm, athlete’s foot, and tinea versicolor. It is available in two forms: Kalpanax K Krim and Kalpanax Salep. Kalpanax K Krim contains miconazole nitrate, which works by inhibiting the growth and development of fungal cells on the skin.

Kalpanax Salep contains a combination of salicylic acid, benzoic acid, sulfur precipitate, menthol, and camphor, which are effective for treating athlete’s foot and relieving itching caused by fungal infections or eczema.

Contraindications

Kalpanax should not be used by individuals with a history of hypersensitivity or allergy to miconazole (such as hives or swollen eyelids). It is also not recommended for use in infants younger than 4 months of age.
