Setiap orang memiliki kebiasaan masing-masing dalam membersihkan wajah. Ada yang lebih suka cara praktis dengan langsung mencuci wajah dengan air dan sabun, ada pula yang memilih tidur dengan membersihkan sisa makeup menggunakan cleansing oil (pembersih berbahan minyak) saja.

Double cleansing (pembersihan dua tahap) saat ini dikenal sebagai langkah rutinitas perawatan kulit yang makin populer. Metode ini membantu membersihkan kulit wajah secara sempurna untuk mencegah jerawat dan meningkatkan kesehatan kulit secara keseluruhan.

 

Apa itu Double Cleansing dan Manfaatnya?

Double cleansing adalah metode membersihkan kulit menggunakan dua langkah pembersihan berbeda secara berurutan. Langkah pertama adalah menggunakan pembersih berbahan dasar minyak atau micellar water untuk menghilangkan sisa makeup, tabir surya, serta kotoran yang terikat dengan minyak.

Langkah kedua adalah membersihkan kulit dengan pembersih berbahan dasar air. Tujuannya untuk membersihkan sisa-sisa minyak dan kotoran setelah pembersihan langkah pertama, sehingga menghasilkan kulit yang segar tanpa meninggalkan residu minyak.

Tujuan utama dari double cleansing adalah untuk membersihkan kulit dengan lebih menyeluruh dibandingkan hanya dengan satu tahap pembersihan. Metode ini juga membantu mempersiapkan kulit agar lebih siap menyerap produk perawatan selanjutnya, seperti serum, pelembab, atau krim anti-aging, dengan lebih efektif.

Langkah-Langkah Double Cleansing

Langkah 1: membersihkan dengan pembersih berbahan dasar minyak atau micellar water

  • Tuangkan sedikit pembersih berbahan dasar minyak ke telapak tangan atau kapas
  • Aplikasikan secara merata ke seluruh wajah yang kering dan pijat melingkar untuk melarutkan serta mengangkat makeup, tabir surya, serta kotoran lain yang terikat oleh minyak
  • Bilas wajah dengan air hangat untuk menghilangkan residu pembersih pertama

Langkah 2: membersihkan dengan pembersih berbahan dasar air

  • Tuangkan pembersih berbahan dasar air ke telapak tangan kemudian aplikasikan ke wajah yang telah dibasahi
  • Lakukan pijatan lembut dengan gerakan melingkar untuk membersihkan sisa-sisa kotoran yang masih ada
  • Bilas wajah dengan air hangat dan pastikan tidak ada residu pembersih yang tersisa
  • Keringkan wajah menggunakan handuk bersih dengan menepuk-nepuk kulit 

Setelah melakukan langkah pembersihan kedua, kulit Anda siap menerima produk perawatan selanjutnya, seperti toner, serum, pelembap, atau perawatan anti-aging lainnya. Double cleansing bisa dilakukan setiap hari, terutama di malam hari untuk menghapus makeup dan kotoran yang menumpuk sepanjang hari.
